So much bile and resentment in two sentences. Maybe Murray has del Potro on the payroll as his wingman, huh? Perhaps that would explain why he hasn't done better than Andy. It never gets tired, I guess, excusing Roger's failure to win the Gold in London due to exhaustion. He was all of, what, a newly-minted 31? How could he possibly have been expected to recover from such a long SF, even though he's gone 5 sets much later in his career? And sure, Novak lost W '13 because he was worn out from the SF. The man who never gets tired. Excuses, excuses.

You seem bitter. Did dull invite you to his wedding?

Nadal is a very fit athlete, but he doesn't have "endless reserve."

Compared to everyone else he does. Really the only player he ever has to worry about getting tired against is Djokovic, and even that is rare. But as I have said a million times, you do not understand the mindset of high-level athletes at all. I wouldn't expect you to understand this.

And I would say that Djokovic is in that category, since '11, so it's not like he's the only one who can out-last players.

Djokovic is the only one who is in that ballpark, but that hasn't always been the case for him.

Nadal was pretty tired in the '14 RG match, and was glad to see it over in 4. He was visibly lackluster physically in the AO '17 final.

Of course he was physically lackluster in the Australian Open 2017 final. That's because he lost. There is no other explanation for Nadal losing than injury or fatigue. We all know that from you by now.

I would say he's won more big matches on mental reserve than physical.

Yes you would, because you are clueless.

But I really don't see how you denigrate his "spot serving" when you don't denigrate Roger's. It's not the heft in the serve as much as the placement. Why is Nadal's so offensive to you, and Roger's isn't?

Because Federer's serve motion is much more fluid and effortless, and because he has consistently hit his first serve much harder than Nadal has throughout his career. This is a ridiculous comparison to make. Federer has won matches, especially at Wimbledon, with effortless serving streaks. Could Nadal ever do that? No. He often looks constipated trying to get a first serve over the net. And it is only fitting that he has often put his index finger in the part of his body that smells like a city filled with homeless run by white Democrats.

Federer won a Wimbledon final in 2009 by hitting 50 aces. To put his effortless serving style in the same category as Nadal pushing shots into the box is beyond ridiculous.
