This is the down-side of playing it all in one venue. I read that betting odds were on Spain...well, small wonder. It's being played in Spain! And how many people are going to take a Monday off, in Madrid, to watch Croatia play Russia? Now, on top of it, most of us can't find a way to watch it on TV. It's almost like they want DC to fail.
True. Before when it was played over the weekend it was all about tennis for those 3 days. Now you have to struggle to even find it where to watch.

Yeah no wonder that Spain is the favourite to win. Russia seems to be pumped up too with Rublev-Khachanov becoming new Bryan brothers :)

Anyway, hard to see Davis cup succeeding in this format. Perhaps furrher changes are needed and not so drastic measures from the format that was there before.

The other thing they seem to be giving up is what we used to call "The Davis Cup Atmosphere," i.e., when you were in one country, but often the fans of the other found a way to show up and cheer. Playing during the week, playing in one country, not televising it widely...it's hard to see this inspiring enthusiasm.

I am a strong supporter of old traditional DC format. I hate this change of format.

However, I must also say that the old DC format is difficult for people to fully understand, especially for the non-die-hard tennis fans. If you read this forum you are not one of them.

Never heard of either one. I assume FS2 means Fox Sports 2 channel and is probably different from just Fox Sports (1) channel.

Yes, Fox Sports 2. If it helps, on my cable, it’s listed as “FoxSp2” & “FS2” (the other is listed as just “FS1”).

Today, from 12 PM-6 PM (East coast US), the guide lists Davis Cup Tennis. Hopefully you and others will be able to watch.

I don't think I can watch anything of this DC, so thanks for the updates. Glad Rafa won! I see that RBA beat Rublev, too.

Really? Well that just shows you how good the DC website is (NOT!) Who were the double teams?
