Covid vaccine - opinions?

I don't think people are making bs claims of no side effects. As Jelenafan said, it really is a personal decision that everyone needs to make for themselves, their family and their immediate circle. They need to weigh all the factors along with the data and make a decision accordingly. I personally know people who had side affects but no one I know has died as a result of getting vaccinated. I do however know some people outside my immediate circle (about 10 people) that have suffered a death in their family as a result of Covid.

Now on the flipside, I have a pastor friend in the U.S. who's originally from Jamaica. He knows a couple who were split on the issue of whether to get vaccinated. The wife wanted to and the husband didn't. He drove her to the vax site to get her shot. The workers asked him if he wanted to be vaccinated along with his wife. They had enough doses and offered to give him one and he refused saying he wouldn't do it, that he was just bringing her. Two months later he caught Covid, was hospitalized and he died. His wife is now a widow and has to take care of her family alone. I don't have an agenda and I'm not pushing my opinion one way or the other. I'm just presenting facts.

That's sad but I posted a link earlier and there are many others online showing people who have had 2 vaccinations still caught covid and died so it really is case by case and all 100% luck at the end of the day.

The sad thing is many people don't look at any data whatsoever and just take the vaccine cos the news and their government are pushing their agenda and recommending they do and they're mostly doing it for travel reasons but of course you don't need any vaccine to travel. They just think it'll make their lives easier. I don't mind having to get a pcr instead knowing I won't have any vaccine side effects. It's a fact you have to go digging to find information and the corrupt media and governments are hiding the side effects and bad stuff from people. They 100% will never provide you with links showing all the bad stats. That's just wrong. You need to see both sides to form an informed opinion. We all know governments are corrupt but millions/billions being lied to is not one bit cool.

It is very sad. I agree, there will always be people who follow the governing populace. But as you referenced above, you are taking a risk whether you get vax or not. That's where the personal decision comes into play. Each has to weigh the risks, benefits, factors, etc for their decision and then live with the outcome of it. It is very sad. I agree, there will always be people who follow the governing populace. But as you referenced above, you are taking a risk whether you get vax or not. Tbh, the more I read up on it, it sounds like mickey mouse stuff and yet more mass media scaremongering. More transmissible, yes, but makes you less sick, nothing more than a common cold for most people, not even comparable with proper flu. It's the natural cycle of viruses to become easier to transmit over time and less deadly but every country worldwide are needlessly milking this cash cow as long as possible to keep people scared. Laughable if they're gonna start (and they will soon) giving people "booster" shots for every new "variant of concern" that comes around. Scumbags are getting rich with this crap.

I'm anti covid vaccine not anti vaccine in any way at all and have taken plenty of proper vaccines. Only the very elderly or sick are affected by this for the most part and I don't agree at all with this approach of vaccinating perfectly healthy young people, especially when many people get shit side effects or even die from these not properly tested vaccines that are only in trial stages till 2022/2023.

The biggest joke is the booster shots they have planned which are clearly getting even less trial than the already pathetic trials of the existing vaccines and they have no idea whatsoever of long term side effects. Sincerely hope all people here who have taken a covid vaccine and my family, friends etc. will all be fine but I'm not jeopardizing my health with a rushed vaccine for something I may never even get. Lots of reinfections since people are fully vaccinated makes it even more pointless to me. Sure they won't die fingers crossed but neither will I with zero.

I've been just fine as have billions worldwide for 1.5 years of covid with no vaccine and the media scaremongering isn't gonna force me to do anything or convince me I suddenly need their rushed vaccines. I'm not one bit scared despite how much the news try to scare people. 99.7% survival rate = no need for a vaccine for practically all but a fraction of society.

Another thing that's absolute bs...without a "vaccine" you need a negative pcr test to board a plane but think about this...if there are 189 passengers on a flight and 188 are vaccinated and therefore the geniuses decide they don't need to be tested and I'm the only unvaccinated passenger then I'm the ONLY person you know for sure does not have covid. That's laughable what the world has come to. The vaccinated people who could have covid could give it to me.

Way I see it, I've never got the flu vaccine and never got the flu. Absent twice in 20 years from work and 1 day was from a sore back due to a crap chair as I posted before so I don't need any vaccine.

Thanks for the reply..it's great and you should consider it a real blessing that you have such a powerful immune system. That being said here are two thoughts or points of view.

1. You may not be a "receiver" but a carrier of the flu or Covid-19 virus ..I'm not a medical professional but it may be some validity to this.
2. The Coronavirus is not a typical virus and very unlike any variation of the flu..So any thoughts of comparison to the annual flu or something like that is like comparing Fire and Ice..both are some form of elements but are as everyone knows is mutually exclusive. The coronavirus Covid-19 is an Alien. It's not looking for you to die but looking for another human hoist body so it can live.( Go rent the original John Carpenter's version of The Thing). I'm not here to convince anyone that they should take the vaccine or not but it may not be prudent to be socializing with other humans who may be positive. You can Google search for the numerous anti Covid-19 vacciners who have succumb to death because they felt that the vaccine vaccination shot wasn't warrant.( Especially the idiot 30 something Colorado Sheriff who campaign as an anti Covid-19 vacciner who is currently in the ground while his young family is dealing with the results if his foolish selfishness.)
