Of the eight Americans that were in the qualifying tournament,
one made it to the Main Draw. His name is McDonald. I have never heard
of him before. He had a WC into the qualifying. Does anyone know anything
about him off the top of the hat.

So, we now have eight Americans in the MD, 3 regular entry,
4 wild cards and 1 qualifier. That is about 15% of the field.
Let us see as to how many make it to the second round.

According to Brad Gilbert earlier, he's 18 years old and had 0 ATP points till he qualified this week. Now he has 25 points

I must add that one American made it into the main draw as two of them faced each
other in QRF.
