Dont understand why Foki would want to play doubles with Tsitsipas, tonight, already played a singles match earlier, seeing he is to play Novak tomorrow, you would think he would have withdrawn...........Hmmm.

Doubles is more interesting than a glorified practicing. .Foki is young and it's not that hot

I understand that about doubles, then he should leave doubles to the main stream doubles player that play on the circuit, full time, he is probably feeling sorry for Tits and wants to help him out seeing his form has gone backwards :)

The young Greek should be happy he isn't playing Eubanks. He will defeat young Ben

Charly really doesn't need to play everything like a highlight reel. This is early rounds, and Thompson isn't really a threat. Paciencia, hijo!

Agree, he was doing the same thing in Toronto and came unstuck

Gets the break back, and I see that Felix has, too, in the 2nd, but still a set down v. Mannarino.

He's not playing his best tennis since getting back on the HCs, but he could do with a bit of patience and strategy. Try getting the ball over the net, for a start.

Patience is the key I agree, he has the shots, though in Toronto to me his fhand was way off. Yes it does help getting the ball over the net.:)

I knew this would be a tricky 2nd round match for FAA against Mannarino,
Mannarino won in straight sets 64 64

I've been saying this all year. Too much flash and not enough vanilla (especially when his timing is off). Vanilla wins points too. He needs a good healthy mix and it will be up to JCF to help him balance it.

Exactly. People can get mad at waiting for an error, but that's part of the strategy, too. He's capable of keeping the ball in play...let the other guy make the UFE. Save the no-margin play for the big boys.
