Co-Signed! I never thought I would see the day coaching is allowed in WTA and now ATP....I absolutely HATE the coaching that is allowed!
One of the things I loved about tennis was the importance of being able to think for yourself, make adjustments when your game plan wasn’t working. Now you have these people yelling what to do. I agree with you. It detracts from the game.I absolutely HATE the coaching that is allowed!
Same here, JCF and Carlos talk a lot during the matches.I absolutely HATE the coaching that is allowed!
If you want to be the top you have to expect you are going to be hunted, its part of the game, help me Hubi's game puts me to sleep and he needs to find a personalityCarlos Alcaraz has looked almost human in Cincinnati—how long can he live on the edge? | Tennis.com
His three wins, over 55th-ranked Jordan Thompson, 13th-ranked Tommy Paul, and 70th-ranked Max Purcell, have all gone three sets.www.tennis.com
Interesting commentary from Tignor. Is it mental fatigue from all the tennis? Is part of it the transition from being the hunter and now the hunted? Hurkacz has had a good tournament. Hopefully Carlos can right the ship here and win it in two.
I'm serious..I like the player having the ability to problem solve on their own..to much chatter during the matchI absolutely HATE the coaching that is allowed!
Yep. We’ll see how Charlie does as the hunted. I prefer the quiet ways of Hurkacz to the incessant fist pumping by many of his peers. I think the only time he celebrates (a little) is when he wins a set. lol.If you want to be the top you have to expect you are going to be hunted, its part of the game, help me Hubi's game puts me to sleep and he needs to find a personality
Too damn much..JCF should get a chair on the court . Good GriefSame here, JCF and Carlos talk a lot during the matches.
I agree I am Over the fist pumping on every point and then the player looks to his coach for approval lol!Yep. We’ll see how Charlie does as the hunted. It's a major annoyance and does distract from the game... Remember Pete said "there's no one for you to pass the ball to" . .Well now you opportunity to talk about it with your coachesOne of the things I loved about tennis was the importance of being able to think for yourself, make adjustments when your game plan wasn’t working.
