But this is where it gets mental for Charlie. He has to remember who he is. #1 seed w/ 2 slam titles to his name. He has to start playing like he remembers his name and put that second set away. Let's see if he's ready to pull up his big boy pants
Or forget who his opponent is. The hoodoo isn’t that strong yet. They’ve only played 3 matches, and Carlos beat him in Miami. He can focus here and put Tommy Paul away.

He has to, or the oracles will tell us Tommy Paul will win the USO.. :lol6:

Such is life. It often happens when a player gets released from jail, he goes on a spree. Disgraceful is too strong a word.

Carlos should still win this match, but he’s playing nothing but final sets lately..
Well he is the No 1 player? his play of late on HC has been a lot to be desired, quite frankly, I am sticking with disgraceful, I expect more of him

This is really a surprise, Stan played some vintage tennis against Tiafoe, tought he got this.
Agree, though this tournament has been full of surprises Don, seeds going out in their 2nd round matches etc

Even great players have an off day. Disgraceful is too strong. It’s not like he’s tanking it..
I never said he was tanking, you know me he would get my Wrath if he did, also he dosent have to play like a highlight reel every match :)

As much as people're cheering Carlos on, it's a wonder he isn't heading to NY w/ all those UFE's & brks of serve blown to close the match out! :face-with-head-bandage:

Yep. Kind of hard to forget a guy who's taken up residency in the front quadrant of your head.
