Congrats to Roger;)
I wanted him to win, because I want Milos to play him here in Cincy.

After a brilliant point, Roger gets himself a BP , which is also a match point. And Roger takes it.

It is actually a good comeback from him from 1-4 down in the second set.

Murray looks like he cannot keep it together for long periods of time right now. He had a great spell beginning of the second set, but lost the plot later.

Roger was better from the baseline today, compared to the previous matches, but missed some really makeable volleys. Lots of positives from him though, especially the backhand.

Well, good on Roger, but Andy not forcing a 3rd is going to weigh heavy on him. He needed this one more that Fed did, going into the USO.

Pathetic. Absolutely pathetic from Andy. This year is over.

Gutted I even stayed up for it.

Is there much of a doubt that Rafa is playing the USO? I thought he was up and practicing?

Good to see Roger fight back in a set, oftentimes he just gives up on it against the good players when they get so far in front. Roger earned the first break to put some pressure on Murray and then Andy totally donated the 2nd. A really disappointing match for Andy because, as Moxie pointed out, this is one he needed a lot more than Roger I think.

Interesting semis...on paper the semi should be the final for Roger whereas if Milos wins I think Ferrer could definitely beat him in the final. If Roger beats Milos and loses to Ferrer or Benneteau in the final...I give up :)

I didn't see much of this match, as you will see from that previous message but Andy, to be a double break up at 4-1 in that set, losing it 7-5, absolutely terrible again. One step forward with the clutch win over Isner, then two steps back with not even forcing a decider tonight.

Headaches left, right and centre.

As much as I want to pettily support against Roger after beating my guy, I hope he wins this week.

Do you think the kid is going to get his first win against Roger?

I wanted for him to have a chance to try again and play better than he did at Wimbledon. I know how much he was upset with himself, for not bringing it against Roger there.
It will benefit Milos more if he will have a good showing against him here, win or lose.

It seems all about the wrist. If the wrist is good, and he can play without feeling he'll do damage, he'll play. They've put the decision off into next week, which seems a positive sign.

I am amazed at the swing of momentum in the second set, Andy was ahead by a mile and then the wheels came off! Towards the end of the set, he was hitting outside the doubles alley.
Roger picked it up and finished the job.
