Sometimes Dad wants to see her! It's Dad you know, he has his own mind!!

Caro admitted in her post match interview that(to some extent) it's the improved serve that's giving her some free points and lots of confidence. I always said if she can make her serve count as a weapon, that may be the ticket for her improvement...

I attended Caro's practice right before her match Tuesday, Dad was standing there as always, I have pictures of it.

I couldn't believe the one sided score Aga had against Sabine, I guess Lisicki had nothing left after that 3 set marathon yesterday.

Sharapova versus Halep is very interesting.

JJ who usually plays well in Cinci will be a good test for Serena. Great to see Ana going deep in tournaments. I am happy that Woz is showing so much more aggression. She needs it if she is ever to win a major. Hoping Halep stays healthy through USO. It will be a challenge given her small size to withstand the power of these big hitters.

I did see the interview after the match where Caro stated she didn't want her dad to com onto the court.

Interesting dynamic and reflects the controlling aspect of her father.

If Caro keeps her unforced errors down and play a clean game, she can beat Serena.
She will need to serve better % than she did today.

Like you said Hoergren, she may be the only one who can challenge Serena these days.
