Not playing her best in first set but overpowering McHale in second set Wozniacki wins her 16th set in a row without sets to the opponent in Beijing - not bad me thinks

Bianca Andreescu takes the 1st set 63 over Mertens,at times Bianca's first serve found wanting, though an improvement on her previous match.I have to have dinner then I am working night shift.Check scores later. The winner of this match will play Jennifer Brady.

When was a last time Kastkina went on a two match winning streak as she did here? Scrolling, scrolling...right, it was in Rome this year. And when was it before that? Scrolling, scrolling...Moscow last year October where she won a tournament.

What happened to this girl? She has a good overall game, but think she lacks firepower. I just remember her serve is really weak. Did she struggle with injuries? Anyway, glad for her making a few wins.

I don't get Madison..she is like having to depend on a step child .. unreliable

Quite frankly I am not surprised Keys came into this tournament with a foot injury,I watched her previous match and she found it difficult at times to push off when serving, she had to retire in her match at Osaka tournament,to me she should have rested and got the proper treatment and not play in Beijing.

Wozniacki v Siniakova tight first set won by Caroline 7-5,Siniakova fh really breaking down towards the end of the 1st set,
BTW Siniakova has the most unorthodox service motion I have seen, her coach needs to correct that service action ASAP.

I agree, like Kenin’s not common
Also wow Wozniacki has a good draw... pliskova Out so she’s playing Siniakova today in R16, QF could have been Halep or Sabalenka but they both lost lol!

Goodness me this is a Break A Thon in the 2nd set, scrappy play by both players, with UFE and their serves going AWOL,
there were 3 early consecutive breaks of serve,Woz held for 4-2 and then just got broken back on serve in the 2nd set
Siniakova to serve 3-4 of course Siniakova got broken and Caroline will serve for the match 5-3

Please let this match be over....
