Tennis balls with no felt/fuzz cover could slow it down a bit. By the way...I'm just kidding about the whole "hardwood courts" thing. It'd be a terrible idea.
I knew you were, and figured you got it by the time I got to velcro and super-glue. Some of my favorite exchanges on these boards are when we just take it to the absurdist extreme. :)

I'm very sorry. I didn't get your joke as squash is played on wood flooring so thought tennis could be too. I'm more used to word-play kind of jokes but can have a laugh. I saw everyone having a laugh & wanted to join in with the fun. It's easier for me to write stories & poems though than it is to have a chat though. Part of me wanted to prove I could do more than just write stupid stories & pretty poems but I guess I failed. I'm sorry. I guess I should just stick to writing poems & pieces on horses & books & stuff. I'm very sorry for bothering you.

You have absolutely no reason to apologize for anything, Ann.

O.K. I guess I thought I had to apologise for not getting your joke & trying to have a laugh with everyone but ending up spoiling everyone's fun & felt a bit down after explaining myself which I felt the need to do.

I'll be honest, Ann, I didn't know if he was kidding about the hardwoods, either. (That's why he felt the need to clarify.) It just went with the joke. All good! And good, silly fun.

No harm intended on my end. I may often come off as a jerk, but I promise that I'm good natured. Most of my posts are in jest. We're all faceless friends here, aren't we?

Haha! It was just a very subtle joke just like my word-play sometimes then. I thought he was being serious so felt as thought I didn't quite get the joke everyone else got when he stated. I didn't read your sarcasm either. Please forgive me for being such an idiot. It was me, no one else. I admit when I'm wrong though it can take a while for me to build up courage for me to do that, I apologise for what I've done wrong & try to make things right. O.K. I'll have a laugh with everyone instead of blaming everything on myself. Since I spoilt everyone's fun, I'll come up with a few ridiculous ideas of my own to make up for it. I think they should start equestrian or chariot tennis or play on macadamised courts. Lol. You've got to have a laugh. Life wouldn't be worth living without comedy or music as well as some other things.

I know. It was me who took things the wrong way. Please forgive me if I accidentally made you feel bad. It was never my intention. I noticed you're friendly & sociable & like a laugh. It wasn't you. It was me. I admit when I'm wrong (sometimes it can take a while to build up courage to say I'm wrong though), apologise & make things right in the end. Of course we are.
