Iga doing Iga things in the desert 60 62 over Yastremska, the high bouncing and slower conditions suits Iga's game to a tee

Just tuned into the rematch of the Dubai final between Andreeva v Tauson
Can Tauson turn the tables on Andreeva and win this match in IW?
Rod Laver is in the house watching this match
One thing that Tauson can improve on is her movement, Andreeva is the better mover and can expose Tausons lack of movement on a court.

Andreeva wins the 1st set 63, Tauson did have her chances to break back, ufe cost her at the wrong time in the 1st set
Andreeva playing with 'controlled aggression and gets the early break in the 2nd set, with a fh winner down the line
Tauson has to tidy up her ufe in the 2nd set, coming far too freely at present
Tauson running out of ideas at present and Andreeva with a great lob gets the double break and leads 4-0 and consolidates the break 5-0
Andreeva d Tauson 63 60 a mature performance from Andreeva
Tauson had her openings in this match, but just hadnt been able to take her chances in this match, also I felt Tauson needed to stay in the rallies longer and try to build the points,.
Andreeva will play Rybakina in her next match

It isn't just Machac w/ the hiking. I've noticed a fair amount of women hiking these skirts to the point I see backside. I'm not really interested in seeing your butt cheeks (Clara, Jess, Radacanu, Parks and others)...

Well not Claras day today - way too many errors - because Andreeva didn't let her find her rythm and she played well - here some stats. You get her in Miami.

OMG Madison I went for a run and you were serving for the match against Mertens and I see you were broken going 3 sets?
It was a battle in the 3rd set, Madison finally won 62 67(7) 64

I saw some of it. Ye ole Maddy showed up and played down to the level of her competition. Elise just not clear or brave enough on the big points to steal the victory.

A much improved Gauff wins in straight sets over Sakkari 76(1) 62
I wouldn't say much improved. Maybe 30% better. Still way too many doubs and again, the Goddess is just terrible right now and couldn't take advantage of some opportunities. If you can't break when your opponent donates 6 DF's in one game and then slides in some of the slowest serves on the tour (aka Errani), you are a hot mess and then some.
