Alcaraz finally with some momentum for the first time in this SF, his fhand letting him done big time, for some strange reason cant get the high bounce like he usually does
Thats more like it 2 service games to love

Carlos Alcaraz has finally entered the stadium leads 4-0 2nd set
Draper looks tired to me, I know its hard to maintain a high level like he did in the 1st set, still its all about conditioning at this level and being able to maintain it, and not dip soo badly
Jack has had issues with his physical ability, and also retired in matches, shame, lets see how he fares in the final set
Geez the fhand has been found with a pass down the line to win the 2nd set 60

Umpire said replay the point, they are now re looking re looking at the point from start to finish
Draper got to it and he was awarded the point, right decision
Draper gets the early break and consolidates it , 3-1

A Tennis Friend just texted me and said,

"Alcaraz could be the greatest tennis player of all time if he didnt leave his brain in the locker room every time he came out to play a match" Ouch!

Draper just needs to make his first serves like he did in the 1st set, and could be on his way to win this match
Jack has taken his game to Alcaraz in this 3rd set, he is playing to win
What a Roller Coaster of a match it has been

What a bhand winner from Draper, he really has upped his intensity in the 3rd set
BP for Draper chance for a double break lead
Draper will now serve for the match 5-2 and his first Masters 1000 final! also first top ten ranking
Alcaraz too many strange shot selections in this 3rd set, and not playing percentage tennis when needed

I'm shocked nobody's screaming about this Semi-Final! Turned over to the match just in time to see Alcaraz possibly upset yet again! Hard to believe there's a consensus in his possible greatness b/c he's so freakin' talented, but he's pulling a "Nadal" IMO; premature arrogance! He's had some really bad losses! He's still working too hard & 'hot-dogging it!" Those dropshots are so overdone! He still trying to be a human "highlight reel!" Jack has 1 more chance to serve out the match! - Update: DONE! :fearful-face::yawningface::astonished-face::angry-face:

I absolutely detest this version of Chuck. Dude is so concerned w/ putting fabulous points on the board. Boy, you better be worried about putting points on the board, period. Getting blown out 6-1 w/ a boatload of errors, running off 7 straight games and then can't hold his nerve in the decider when it was clear his opponent was getting tight. Boy bye...

Some of his shot selections in that 3rd set, made my head hurt, has he ever heard of playing percentage tennis at all, cut out the showman crap, just play with the great weapons he he has been blessed with for starters.

That was a really bad call by the referee...why do he always have to be in focus

Maybe he needs to lose a few more before it gets ingrained in his brain waves.

Carlos is going through a bit of a thing, but I have no doubt he'll take another step forward. Again, his career closely mirrors Nadal's. But whereas Nadal had three years of similar "great but not GOAT" level in 2005-07 before reaching GOAT level in 2008, it might be that Carlos needs four before taking another step forward. I mean, the year is young but it doesn't look like he's finding that next level yet, and of course there's a chance he's more of a Becker type and never really gets better than his early peak.
