I read that Tsurenko had a panic attack , and this manifested after a meeting with the head of WTA.

Tsurenko said she had a conversation with WTA CEO Steve Simon and she was absolutely shocked by what she heard. He told her that he does not support the war, but if the players from RUS and BLR support it, then this is only their opinion, and it should not upset me.
Tsurenko said "I was absolutely shocked by this conversation, and already in the last match it was already difficult to play. difficult to get it together and today, when it was time to go to court, I had a panic attack and I just couldn't go there. ( R3 v Sabalenka, who won by W/O).

Barbora had a comeback win in the QFs in Dubai over Sabalenka 06 76(2) 61. Sabalenka is trying to reach the last eight in IW for the first time.Krejcikova made the 4th round in her only previous appearance in 2021.
