With Seles sitting next to him at the moment..Man, if you guys ever seen her play live, I saw her in Miami years ago on the grandstand hit 8-10 DTL painting the lines. She was incredibly accurate.
Monica was also at both ladies s/finals last night.I have never seen her live, but have watched many of her matches.Monica played with no fear.

Plus..........Rafa is a good wind player,Carlos the youngster not soo much,it has affected his serve so far in the match
Larry Ellison in his house.
Very good point about the windy conditions..heck , Larry has enough money to design something to minimize the wind .. jajaja

After Korda, Opelka and Kyrios, Rafa has to at least like the Alcaraz serves in comparison. The good thing is Rafa is getting a good read on the serve.

The good thing for Alcaraz is that Nadal has lost 2nd sets after winning the 1st set so he has chance to come back in the match.

It seems like Carlitos is getting used to the windy conditions a little bit.

Unfortunately her 30s we're not kind to Monica. Foot ailments and the upstarts like Hingis, the Williams Sisters pushed her out of the game before she have a chance to prolong her career post GrafFan idiot stabbing incident.

Alcaraz with a break in the 2nd set.

He has adjusted well with the windy conditions.

NO. NO. NO.

We are not going down the rabbithole as if THAT incident didn't change womens tennis permanently. Crude on my part, but the only way to make a comparison is to have all the top players stabbed while in a match and see how well they would have recovered emotionally and physically. Monica was never the same MENTALLY after that incident, the killer instinct was never quite the same.

The only bad thing about the wind is that it can make this match long especially if it goes into a third set.

Alcaraz's BH in these windy conditions has been phenomenal. The way he can control it has been amazing to watch...

I don't like Rafa's play in the wind here...he knows how better.
It will be interesting on how he can adjust to the windy conditions.

Alcaraz has surprisingly adjusted well especially in the 2nd set.

One of the highlights of the match so far was when Rafa's water bottles went over in the wind, ball girl went to stand it upright and both players laughed

The problem of stopping this match due to wind is that they will have to comeback later tonight to finish the match. Then, the winner of this match will have to comeback tomorrow to play the final.

JF I understand what you are saying..Seles was able to rise again and capture some slams and tournament after the incidents but she lost a lot of her prime years. I know what I'm saying if you read again what I said. Her foot movement got completely compromised due to injuries and the youngsters made her suffer.. Hingis once defeated her double bagel. Check the records. I know what I'm talking about.
