Just look at the stats: Nadal has generated 1 break point on Kyrgios serve in almost two and half hours of play. That will not get done at all especially on a slow, high bounce hardcourt.

Nadal is definitely tentative right now out there. He is not hitting his serves hard and just trying to end the points quickly.
