Felix is a legitimate good person..he is not going to be a Tiger woods meaning someone who is not as wholesome as his advertisers marketed him. Felix is gonna be a very poor man's Sampras. Very control fire and may develop to learn to unleashed it.. Yet, the difference is Pete was the quiet Assassin. Felix has everything to be a minor version of Pete. However, to say he can all of a sudden turn into the once assumed to be GOAT is a bit unrealistic at this point in his career. We shall see, IMO.
I will say that Jannik Sinner will probably be the next quiet assassin in tennis. However, his game is more similar to Agassi/Djokovic (at least in groundstrokes).

His match yesterday seems like it did not happened due to both of them not even grunting at all lol! The only sounds you will hear during the match were the tennis strokes, umpire saying the score, changeover music, and ooh's and awe's of the fans because of the shot-making that both Sinner and Djere produced in the match.

I hadn't quite realize you were actually going to be there, too. Thanks for the report.

I'm very high on Korda, and I think he took a step up yesterday, even if he lost. Sounds like you were at that match...do you agree? (And, as a Nadal fan, how did you survive it, live?)

Who hates on Rublev?! Nobody. Anyway, good one about Isner/Querrey. LOL.
Moxie, Korda looked really good, and actually the one nervy game was at 5-2, then after that was Rafa also upped his game so it wasnt just a Sebastian totally undone. I liked how Korda can close in on a point, good court sense. Like Alcaraz he has that coiled explosiveness…

it has to be tough playing your idol and then start THINKING you could actually beat him.

It looked like that from TV, too. Korda TOTALLY intimidated first set, then fantastic in the 2nd. I like his game so much, and his attitude. I don't blame him that he couldn't close it. He got tight at 5-2, and, as we know, even a small bit of breathing room can give Rafa new life, and it did.

I think Big foe may defeat Hair Bear dude
TC gives him a chance, too. I think he won their only other meeting.

Rune trying to make Berrettini go long, when he's serving for it. Mamma mia! EDIT: But no, and Matteo goes through. But 18-year-old Rune is some player, of what they showed on TC.

The Quiet Assassin? that was Steffi Graf's nickname when she was on the WTA tour :)
Agree his groud strokes are similar to Novak and also his serve does need improvement

Looking at it, I had him going deep, too. Oh, well.
Maybe Miami will be better, but the young fella better watch out for the " distractions" OMG. I wish I was there to be his OG wingman.

Sock is still one of the best double players in the world. Look how he is carrying Isner big feet butt. Jack could win a match with Fiero..

Sock is more than good, he is outstanding double player. I think he is better that the other Bryan brother he replaced while the other one was injured. Sock knows the ball patterns and where to break down their opponents weakness. If you put him with Rafa, it's all OVER. Rafa could play until he is 50

More like some oddly spray-painted nonsense. I was too nice to mention the white shorts version that Seb Korda was wearing that had what looked like an embarrassing stain on the back. Who thought this one up?

Yes they were disgusting shorts,I too refrained from bringing it up,as Rafa was giving us fan a bit of suffering in the match
