I couldn't agree more. There's something about Roger these last few months. Even when he's losing or having a tough match he's digging deep and making guys earn it. It's great to watch.

It is very refreshing to see you Roger winning close matches. He has one something like 4 or 5 of his last tiebreaks. His tiebreak win percentage this year has been like it was in the mid-2000sIt is very good to see endless good for tennis generally.

Yep he has been tough as nails this year even in a couple of the losses. I'm just amazed at the baseline consistency these past couple tournaments, he just isn't missing that much and is playing great defense. Combine that with great serving and his forehand clicking and it's very tough to beat.

I was only able to see the last game of the match Roger played against Grigor. So, it is hard for me to judge what the match was like. I watched most of Rafael against the young Croatian. Although there were a lot of errors in the first set, the second set was good quality. This young lad is only 17 and he has that "it" factor during tight moments in the match. It is reminiscent of young superstar teenagers playing the greats of years gone by. You have to think that the file was thinking about how young this boy was as they were playing. It certainly ought to have reminded him of how Roger felt when he first played Rafael. Then again, the same could be said of Sampras playing Roger and we can go back in time to when McEnroe arrived, etc.
