Good thing that they schedule Rog. vs. Tiger in the morning. The winner
will have more time to recuperate in case they go after each other heavily.

I will go with Roger. He has to play quick, take time away from Delpo, go behind him and wrong foot him, drop shot him...anything but get into baseline rallies.

Nole -Gasquet might turn into an exhibition with some stress free shot making.

I cannot predict the winner of this one. But, I think if Roger wants to win it,
he needs to take it in two sets. If it goes to three, I think it favors JMDP, the Tiger.

I think Federer will get through but in 3 sets though. His drop shots will be effective today.

That would be the way to wear out an already tired-looking Juan Martin. I agree it's tough to call, but I'm not sure if, in this case, 3 sets favors JMDP, GSM. I'll be happy for either, but with so many friends amongst the Federer fans here, I'm inclined to root for Roger to come through.

I'd would rather see Juan make it to the semis. Ralf's playing well and I don't think a Fedal repeat is as entertaining as it used to be.

Agreed, but Juan Martin isn't playing that convincingly. You might say he has fresher answers to Nadal, but Federer was, up until maybe last year, the best player on indoor HCs, so there's that argument for the better match-up. He's always held the cards v. Nadal indoors. Del Potro is not playing with real energy or conviction this week. However, I don't think either looks like a big threat to Nadal, in this mood and form. (I hope.) :)

Winner of this match plays Nadal, is that right? Then the winner of Wawrinka v. Djokovic?

I like Roger's chances as he is at least playing some adequate tennis the last couple weeks and JMDP might be a little exhausted by now. I don't think he did himself any favors by trying to come back on Nole when he should have realized the match with Federer would have been do or die regardless (Nole beating Gasquet in 2 would have assured he'd get the TB over DP if they all finished 2-1).

Hopefully Roger gets it done in 2 since he does have to play in consecutive days if he makes the semis.

del potro vs Federer ?..dunno  which version of Federer are we gonna have ? megafed or federror ??, del potro is not too tired so forget about that, jmdp could be ready for a perf like vs rafa so fedster better be ready, the court has quickened up a bit too, I noticed today.

djokovic vs gasquet has got nothing on it, apart from 200 rank points on offer, I keep hearing the serbinator going on about 2014..so I suppose he wants these 200pts for when he launches his assault on the no1 position next year.

Am I right to say that the Novak-Gasquet match means absolutely nothing? 200 points, but no impact on tournament or rankings?

Fed vs. del Potro should be good. Its like the final game in a best of three series, with them tied at 1 a piece. With apologies to David Ferrer, is it the match to decide who is the 4th best player in the game right now?
