Well if Stan getting upset at Uncle Homie's coaching struck a nerve with Rafa, then he might be at Nadal's mercy. It also doesn't make sense for Rafa to use much energy now that he has won the group.

Tomas has grown a pair! He's been excellent this set, up a double break. Payback for years of misery...

You really think Ralf would do something like that?

Front, why don't you give that a rest? You spend too much time cataloguing what Rafa does with his shorts. :s

Well I happen to be on the side that thinks the dude has no integrity so it is all a matter of perspective. But he also has an obvious reason to not go all out against an opponent fighting to survive.

Well, maybe not completely deliberate. I mean if he hadn't gone down a break and stayed on serve he may be trying harder but as Berdych started playing better he doesn't appear to be making any attempt to salvage this set. As Kieran pointed out why waste energy now when he's already won the group. I'll reserve judgement till I see set 3.

My 95 year old father was sitting in the chair giggling. I asked him what he was chuckling about. He said to me, "I always know which player is Rafa as soon as he picks his a$$."

Why can't Rafa give it a rest? Can't think of any other player who'll be remembered for not only winning zillions of French Opens, but playing with himself on public tv every match!

Don't forget Roddick, (sans the the French Open titles).

He may also prefer Berdych takes the second spot in his group for tactical reasons.

Not having your destiny in your own hands sucks though...I mean, Stan fought hard to win his match today, and any other tournament, everyone knows the outcome of this match. Now, there is nothing Stan can do, except fill the suitcase, empty it the next minute...fill er up again.

Possibly but I'm not sure why. Nole seems to have more trouble with Stan than Berdych... Regardless I don't think either has much of a chance and Rafa probably wouldn't think so either.

Rest assured Moxie. The seer predicts a straight set victory for the Bull. Something like 6-3 6-4. :D

Seer should resign taking moral responsibility
