That's half the job done, now on to the other half, I can not see how nadal going to lose number one how he's playing like a tennis god, unless he gets injured good luck with that not happening.:yahoo::dance2::help::yesyes:

Haven't seen you for a while, Front. I see you picked a typically classy remark for your comeback appearance. :p

^ Re the Superman curl, that's what happens with a cheap hair transplant using your pubes!
The transplant was only in the crown but there is someone else who needs at front and probably his own pubes will work much better in that area...:lulz2:

I try :D Been busy minding my little guy for the week and going to bed at 9 most nights. Fun! Easiest way to get him sleep is to go to sleep next to him. First day back in the gym today too in over a week so I missed the tennis earlier. Good time to be a Nadal supporter although it was great to see such a young opponent in the final and he beat some decent players along the way.

You should read back at some of @mrzz 's posts on the 1HBH v. Nadal. The Greek is 6'4", which gives him some advantage over the spin into his bh, though I do expect Rafa to try to exploit it.
I think everyone should read Mrzz's longer posts anyway. They're very well-written, informative & interesting. He's even got the knack of getting people engaged in what he says & leave them wanting more as well as getting them to listen to & think about what he's saying.

That's a sweet slice of the Front Family life. :) Despite the scoreline, I still think that Tsitsipas should be on the list of potential spoilers, at least, for the clay season. As I said, it wasn't a great time and place for the Greek kid to play his first match v. Nadal. But he'll have learned something. And the next meeting is unlikely to be in a final.

Miss Carol said that the kid mentioned it was his dream to play Rafa, well i said his dream playing Rafa on clay would be a pure nightmare ..I guess going forward Rafa is his boogeyman.

Tsitsipas, just is the favour of the month right now, I not see anything special, but I could be wrong we see.

I think you're wrong. He's 19 and has a huge up-side.

He also said he learned a lot playing him today. Rafa is not his boogeyman. I expect the next meeting to be more closely contested. Don't write off a 19-year-old based on one performance.

You said Rafa was his bogeyman. To me that implies that Rafa is in his head. I think it's too early to decide that. If that's not what you meant, then fine, but I think you did get carried away. ;)

Let Rafa win more matches on clay than Guillermo Vilas and then I will surely agree that he is the best ever on Clay.
Your agreement/disagreement is based on wrong metric.
Looking at Vilas record, I find we won just 1 RG + four finals (including said win). Si I scratched my head: where those 632 clay court match wins by Vilas came from? Someone said mainly 250 level events. So, his wins, in terms of ATP points, are weighed 8 times less than Rafa's decima (soon to be deci-una as the rest of the field is looking like second class players). Other decimas/deci-unas (at least soon to be) MC, Madrid, Barcelona, are worth 4 times or two times more than most of Vilas victories. I don't even need to define and calculate the precise metric because by this overview, Rafa's 400+ (soon to be 420+) wins have much more weight (I estimate several times more) than those 632 wins.
There is no slightest doubt, that by any reasonable metric, Nadal's achievements on clay, even if his career were cut short now, are far superior than those of Vilas. And subjectively, looking how Rafa is humiliating the rest of the field now: the best players are lucky if they get away without bagel... Have you seen anything like that, not with just Vilas, but any player in ATP history? I haven't.

More precisely, we should say the whole field are Rafa's bogeymen. Come on: 6-0 6-1, or 6-1 6-2 against the players who we judged here be the best clay contenders (e.g. Thiem), that numbers speak for themselves. Rafa is at least one level above them all.

I think you mean the opposite, but I get your point: Rafa is the bogeyman for the entire rest of the field. On this form, there is no one who can beat him. Stay healthy, Rafa!
