Very solid win by Nishikori it seems! I didn't get to see any of the match but he only gave up three games. :clap Ferrer is also up a set right now. Would love to see a Nishikori-Ferrer final again!

You and me both; not as much the final, but what precipitates it! What upset are you thinking of; Fognini today, Lopez tomorrow, or Ferrer in the semi? I'm not going to hold my breath! Is it possible Nadal could go 2 years without taking this title? Would it signal the beginning of the end? :snicker :clap  Here we go in the 3rd Rd with Fabio; starts with a drop-shot winner against Rafa! I didn't realize that Nadal hasn't won much of anything since FO last season; BA in South America!

You might want to see Nishi/Daveed in the final, but I can guarantee you that's a match Ferrer probably doesn't want to see. Daveed lost to Kei several times on clay last year. Most of them were 3-set grueling matches.

Only grueling because of Kei's intransigence; refusing to move forward and cut off some of those long points! Both could venture to the net a little more! Even Nole and Roger are trying! :eyepop :popcorn

I think you'll see Kei come in a little more. I've already seen him trying this year. He did it in IW and Miami until he flamed out.

Ferrer just beat Nishikori a couple months ago in Acapulco!

Got to hit the hay but it would be sweet to see a Fognini victory report tomorrow morning!

That was one win on a HC. I'm talking about his losses to Kei last year on the Spanish Red dirt.

Fabio has the first set over Rafa! Can it really happen? My hands are actually shaking here!

All depends on which F3 shows up in the 2nd set.

There's something seriously wrong with the universe if Fognini beats Nadal two times in a row on clay.

The fabulous one gets the firs set against Rafa. He looked pretty positive out there, attitude wise, but you still get the feeling that he just cannot be bothered sometimes...like he is saying inside " How dare you make me run!".

He might be inspired by his lady friend in the stands; Pennetta! :dodgy:
