I think it's gonna be a bloody and gruesome final tomorrow, if Ferrer can hang with Nishi. Ferrer currently dispatching with ease the bloke who dispatched the bloke who dispatched young Ralph...

^ I just tuned in, and it's 5-5, so I guess things took a turn for the worse for Ferrer?

Ugh ... he blows three set points, and we're into a first set tiebreak.

Yep, Ferru experience helps a lot:nono
I hope a good second set by Andujar, no tiebreaks :-/

Pablo holds to open the second set, then breaks Ferrer at love. I'm surprised, but pleasantly so.

I found this stat from the tennis.com summary:

"Nishikori had another strong start by claiming 21 of the first 27 points with a complete mix of winning shots, including a beautiful lob that fell on the line." http://www.tennis.com/pro-game/2015/04/nishikori-beats-klizan-to-return-to-barcelona-open-final/54735/#.VTu3cWYhw-8

Holy Moly, what a thrashing.

Pablo wins! What a great effort, especially considering how far down he was in the first set tiebreak -- after blowing set points before going into that tiebreak -- and all against a guy he'd never even taken a set from. Great stuff.

Another senior citizen makes a move; Andujar in the final! I've only seen the name; never seen him play before this! Rivals Deliciano in looks! :devil

Much better, IMO.

Hurray for Pablo. I couldn't watch live, so I appreciated a bit of play by play here. Was Ferrer out of sorts, or was it just a lot of Pablo? (And I agree with Tented...even more handsome than Deliciano.)

From what little I watched, Pablo won this match! Ferrer was serving for the first set a couple times and blew it; even had a lead in the TB! Ferrer made a couple uncharacteristic errors out of nowhere, but it was more won than lost IMO! :clap  :dodgy:

A bit of both. I don't think Ferrer expected this, and was a bit perplexed what to do with Pablo playing so well. I also think Ferrer never quite got over losing the first set, especially after saving multiple SPs to get it to a tiebreak, then blowing a 5-1 lead in that. By the second set, David seemed emotionally deflated, and it reflected in his play.
