On the other hand, Thiem will thrive on this type of court because he can defend and he can attack the ball well. I am getting nervous for Wednesday's potential match.

It's only "crap" if you're not rooting for Nadal. Ok, it's not as fascinating as the DM/SW match, so far. And I'm rather hoping it won't be, since I need some sleep.

The quality is crap regardless of who am I rooting for. Obviously Nadal can play much better than that but he has little opportunity to show anything to begin with and even when he has he has sometimes he came with ugly misses as well.

See, I do not understand on why is Nick hitting top spin forehand to Nadal? He has to hit it flat or else Nadal will attack him all day!

Good hold from Kyrgios...let's see if Nadal can keep hold his serve.

Because he is a stupid idiot.

He is not. He is actually very smart IMO. But he simply does not have the ability to change his shots like other top players do. Those technical wholes just keep showing.

I'm not watching (work), but that's how Nick plays. There's a big misconception about Nick's forehand because of how big he's able to hit it sometimes. Yes, he can flatten it out and hit rockets but that's when he lets rip and go for outright winners. His rally forehand is actually weak. It's loopy, very "wristy" and typically lacks angle/depth to compensate.

Kyrgios showing some life here, but it does look too slow for him to hurt Rafa. Unless he starts playing lights out he has no chance here.

Yeah, Nadal with his usual mental walkabout. He should have broke Kyrgios' serve in the first game and just donated a service break to Nick...

I am a little annoyed because Nadal often does this in which he wins the first set then donates a service break for no reason. Credit Nick for stepping up.

He saw Federer do that for years* and got jealous. He always tries to surpass Federer achievement's.
