Then how do you explain that having so

Yes, then I don't understand why having so good volley he hasn't used so much against Nadal and having so good serve and Rafa waiting far back of the baseline why he haven't used more the S&V

that's easy -- it's because he knows rafa reads him veryu well.

so roger can't be as ''free" as most people see where roger can then play almost like a solo act -- and most players are just spectators or like ''foils" while the world watches the ''most complete ever" run unmolested.

around mid-2000's --

ROGER : 'I have the weapons to dismantle him" (rafa )

RAFA: '' WE All love to watch roger , no? because his game is so beautiful no? but i have to fight too, no?"

maybe a good way to describe it is:

'roger federer is the most complete player ever that was owned by a rival like there was no tomorrow".

or how about some players saying it :

"i'd like to rent a floor in that high rise building of roger that rafa owns".

it is a bit like NAVRATILOVA on federer :

'How can you be called the greatest ever if you can't even beat your main rival?"

same as saying federer is the best volleyer or better volleyer or most complete ever..

he just gets beaten by 'less complete players'' anyway.....more often than not..once THEY made their games a BIT ''more complete"

even if STILL ''federer is more complete".

the RESULT is the end story.

So since Nadal beats Federer more often than not that means he has better volleys? Why stop there? It must mean he has the better serve as well. Djokovic beats the crap out of Nadal so that must mean he has the better volleys than Rafa and for sure his overhead is way better than Rafa's.

See how stupid your logic is yet?

Dimitrov sailing towards a straight sets win. Got to like this Dimitrov v2.0 released in January.

just so you know -- i will be well-behaved this year in grand slams.

i will NEVER accuse any player of doping because they are to be trusted with WADA which is trusworthy..in following precisely the schedules for

Medical Therapeutic Exemption.

so - how can I even THINK that any of them are DOPED?

ESPECIALLY if they are NOT russian, serbian or slavic?
--u know, players who are always up to something not according to proper schedules to apply ON TIME for Medical Therapeutic Exemptions?!!

so -- in the interest of the DIGNITY of the CLEAN sports of tennis...

I promise i will behave and not accuse them that way.
ONLY WADA has the moral, legal, ethical , administrative authority to make such accusations

if EVER players miss the proper schedule to apply for Medical Therapeutic Exemptions.

i promise i will behave.

Nadal just gave Raonic a clinic in that break

Well, from the small part I've seen, Raonic is going to have to serve ace after ace... to even hang, because he's getting abused in every rally.

Nadal destroyed Raonic on that first. He ate his second serve, even dealt well with the first. Raonic needs to step it up if wants to have a slim chance in this.

Raonic needs to cut down on the Unforced errors if he is to get back into this. C'mon Milos. Bundle him out of the championship. I like to see that happen :yesyes:

Nadal's level has definitely dropped a bit this set without Milos playing necessarily better. He was virtually perfect in the first set.

Second service game this set where Rafa gets away with some iffy play on a couple of points. He needs to keep his level up as Milos isn't playing well.

One thing that will absolutely never cease to amaze me about the top 4 is their defensive lobs. It's baffling just how good they are at looping the ball miles in the air and have it land near the baseline to get back into the point.

If Rafa loses this set without at least forcing Raonic to raise his level it would be hugely disappointing. He's less comfortable on his service games and not putting as much pressure on Raonic's.
