Rafa can still surpass Roger. That is why we Fed fans think he should continue playing, so that he can increase the distance between him and Rafa.
Rafa ain’t catching Roger..he can’t win 4 more RG championships..Rafa blew his chances to derailed Roger last at AO..

It was based on the temperature and both players agreed to it.
Thanks BB..If Cilic signed off on that he is a freakin moron
I think it's not just the temperature, it's the humidity as well..
That’s true..its based on humidity..regardless Fed is the Champion and the GOAT.. we are all lucky to have him around this long

Funny, you're the one that keeps harping on the h2h. I'm telling you it's the narrative that will live on. The narrative is the Fedal rivalry. I left off the h2h ages ago. Don't try to do a bait-and-switch on me. That's beneath you. I'm not trivializing Novak: the sportswriters have already done that. They've admitted that they love him less that Federer-Nadal, and last year solidified it.

Moxie did anyone ever tell you that you are the most overtly tendentious interlocutor anyone could converse with? You do a terrible job hiding your prejudice and bias on just about every issue. The concept of being even-handed seems to have never been impressed on you.

4 majors and a much better non-major resume is a big difference. The difference between them right now is more than an Andy Murray career.

The problem if Fed retires or simply falls off is that the field is so incredibly weak right now it leaves the door wide open for Nadal.

Hey Darth, congrats on another major for your guy. I'm still upset with Fed though for losing to Delpo last year at the US Open. He played awful and really blew a great chance to win another major. I think he would have beaten Nadal in the semi. It's a shame he choked against Del Potro.

My money is on OKC with their fantastic Big 3 crushing your boy Jimmy Butler in the first round of the Western Conference playoffs. Can't wait.

Hi Cali, Roger's form in that USO was bad regardless of whether the back was a factor or not. He made a big mistake playing Montreal with limited/no practice. But yes if he was able to keep up his form from earlier in the year he'd have been the heavy favorite that tournament. He was by far the best player in 2017 aside from those North American hardcourts.

As long as they aren't playing football. The Night King makes Favre's arm look like Chad Pennington

Yeah, but he had his chances to beat Delpo. He should not have lost that match regardless of what happened (or didn't happen) in Montreal.

Welcome back cali. I agree he had chances to beat Delpo but he was too rigid and rusty to beat Nadal at the USO imo. Movement needed to be as close to 100% as possible to beat Nadal and it clearly wasn't. Backhand and serving were a mess due to his back and timing was off by quite a bit. I mean 5 sets with Tiafoe and Youzhny ?! No, imo he wouldn't have been fit enough to beat Nadal. As many have said, playing Montreal with no practice mucked it all up.

Thus the avatar, Sherlock. Did you find "pretentious" in that slew of words you randomly selected from the $20 pile? Nice to see you back, anyway. ;-):

Haven't seen any matches this AO, but huge achievement and congratulations to Roger and his fans.
He rewrites the history book of this sport over and over.

The word "tendentious" has occurred to me dozens of times when talking to you. You are one of the most biased/prejudiced people I have ever had a conversation with in any forum. Pure partisanship is your game.

But thank you for the welcome back. That $20 pile is actually more like $200 million and it's in my brain.
