Even at 1-4 and down match point, I knew Pova would win. There are only a small handful of players who can beat Pova, and they are all in the other half. Her draw is so easy, she can take the title.

Panova should have told the umpire that the screaming is a hindrance. That was her sole chance of winning. Prevent Pova from screaming and she would really be out of sorts

Unfortunately for you there are no WTA - ITF nor USTA rules which prevents a player to make a sound (scream - shriek - grunt) while hitting the ball - That is why professional WTA players don't protest (except maybe after they've lost the match) - Funny thing is not even has the players union ever protested or discussed the matter in spite of the fact that the majority of the prof players are quiet players

After more then 10 years with Sharapova and there are still very sensitive people whining about her shrieks - It looks to me that it has not so much to do with the shrieking in particular but more about a dislike towards Sharapova - Why not watch the live scores instead of polluting every single thread which concerns Sharapova somehow with this fruitless whining about her shrieks - You suffer tremendously and I feel really really sorry for you - but it's old news by now - Change your broken record

Gajdosova has been playing well,still she has made bad shot selections at times,also over played her shots,she has had BPs could not convert them.
