Must have been a rainout! It'll be between Kokkinakis or Fognini; old vets! They'll work him!
The Fog and Murray tied at 4-4, so that's interesting. Fognini not so much trending. But is it fair to call Kokkinakis a "vet?" H2H 1-0 in Murray's favor. Anyway, Kokkinakis would have crowd love.

Agree Moxie, Lendl would not put up with crap period, though I have been live to matches at the AO, when I felt sorry for Murray's box, the way he sore at them, also swearing at times on court was over the top., Lendl was not his coach at that time
Missing a shot is always the boxes fault, never the players fault the box members need a good telling off:face-with-tears-of-joy:

Sad to say with all the injuries Thanasi has had in his career and sets backs with Glandular Fever, he had a couple of years ago, he said recently he missed 6 good years of tennis, he is correct, though I would not put him in the 'veteran class"
Thanasi is 26 years old btw

It's a terrific shame, but he's practically a newbie, given his time off of tour. Murray would have experience over him, for sure. And rest time over either, given that now they have to finish today. Murray's chances look up.

Since I'm being the Murray defender on this thread, part of my point is that, while I didn't see the whole match due to ESPN BS,

They should be forced to rename their channel ESPN-BS.

I didn't see him do it here, and, in general, when Lendl's around, I think Murray behaves much better, as Ivan doesn't put up with crap.

Agreed. He’s still Murray, but he does behave better around Lendl.

I followed both Thanasi and Nick as juniors, they both played against one another in the AO junior boys, which Nick won, I feel Nick has more of 'untapped talent' than Thanasi, though we really havent seen Thanasi at his best, due to injuries and illness sad to say, hopefully he can stay healthy from now on.

A couple of odd ones...Isner is still out there, and Cressy, with his s&v game seems to be pestering Ramos Viñolas.
