I am not going to watch her,it is too painful.I am watching my Aussie Inglis instead.I will watch the SB on her game
I can't explain it, but there's something about the game, the power, and the suffering of Sabalenka that I find compelling. I think it has to be related to why I was a Safin fan. I can only root for her. And I can't quite look away.

I have had enough suffering being a Rafa fan at times ,I am not a fan of Sabalenka, she can be a UFE machine at times, also her serve is off the charts at the present time,I can look away with ease:)

Oh, man, if you think that being a Rafa fan is suffering, you've never been a Safin fan.

I have been a fan of Safin and his sister....I am still having nightmares when I think of both of them :)
That's my point. Easy to love a constant winner. Harder to love the talented players that make you suffer. I think Sabalenka, again, is working out her demons. Let's see.

She's not "lucky" to still be in. She's so good, that she has enough to get around a huge mental yip. I'm not "enjoying" it, when she looks like a train wreck, but I am enjoying it when she finds a way, with all of her gifts.

Hey she is lucky to be in the draw still,if she had tougher opponents, she would be Out,like 19 DFs on match 18 DFs another match, she also tends to be a Headcase.

She's the 2nd seed...she's not expected to have heavier competition. You can see her as a disgrace, but I'm still pulling for her. I just like her. So sue me.

Kaia Kanepi at just 36 years young, has turned around this match, with her overall experience, too much for WC Inglis.
26 62 60.I have always been a fan of Kaia, she has had many serious injuries, and was going to retire last year.
Well done Kaia!
A lovely stat for Kaia she has made the 2nd week at every Grand Slam ( I have a soft spot for Kaia I have met her personally and she is a sweetie)

Personally, I like it that Sabalenka is willing to struggle in public and in real time at a Major. She's up 3-1 in the 3rd.

If Nike is going to sponsor so many players, can't they at least come up with a couple of different color versions of the kit? I'm am so bored with this dress, bu now.
