I picked him to win since it appeared Thiem was under the weather, but Dom had this on his racket! He was just missing by millimeters at the end! That forehand shank at 4 all in the 3rd setTB was inexcusable! That was the match right there and Perseus deserves it; even with blown victory against Nadal (mentioned just to stroke his delirious fans) in the RR! :whistle: :cuckoo:

Thiem was a bit unwell, which is a pity, because he started out the tournament white-hot, beating Roger and Novak.

Glad to see another NextGenner nab their first big title, and this is a big one. Tsitisipas is the real deal. Should be a very interesting 2020, with him, Medvedev, Zverev, Berretini and Thiem all serious contenders at various Slams, a few others not far behind. I'm hoping to see FAA, Shapo, and de Minaur threaten for the top 10, and possibly Masters titles.
