If Almagro wins this, I'll eat a raw magpie and post the video on Youtube. It won't happen.

I agree. No matter how shaky Nadal plays, Nico doesn't have the balls. His mental weakness will prevent him to accomplish anything significamt in his career

A Rafa tweener earns him a point. Outrageous! (In a Robbie Koenig voice)

On the tweener momentum, Rafa takes the opening set 6-4

amazing point indeed, yet it does not come as a surprise that Rafa would win it. And he breaks and takes the 1st set. Almagro just fell apart when it mattered the most.:dodgy:

Big hold for Nico down 0-40. On serve 1-1

Nadal wraps up his 4th title 6-4 6-3. Congrats.

That thing is ridiculously huge, but a better looking one than a Thanksgiving platter, golden toilet brush or a Goodwill vase.

Ok, I don't want to hear anymore Nadal is just back from injury, so he wasn't playing at his best bull crap anymore from people if he loses matches. That is just BS he is fine as this is now his 4th title and 6th straight final since his comeback.

According to some, if Rafa loses to Novak, he is not recovered:D

1. Calm down, no need to be offensive
2. Why does it always have to be this black and white scenario?

Nadal doesn't have to be anywhere near his best to win clay titles. Even his C-game on clay is enough to take care of everybody apart from Djokovic and Federer. Watch Nadal over the past 7-8 weeks and tell me if this is the best you've ever seen from him. In my opinion he's still nowhere near at his physical (!) best and doesn't move as well as he used to but he definitely regained and maintained a solid shape that is good enough to win him those 250/500 clay tourneys, IW and make it to the finals of Monte Carlo. I don't see how this is mutually exclusive. It's like Federer in 2008 who suffered from Mono, went through physical issues but still made it to the finals of MC, Hamburg, Roland Garros, Wimbledon and won the US Open.

Good post!

I am not saying there isn't room for improvement because every player whether returning from injury or fit can always improve his game, but for real he has as of yet to falter before a final, so I think he is just fine and will be stronger once he improves a bit.
