Yes, he's definitely playing with a sense of calm and clarity. Knows what he wants to do out there.

Wow, the numbers for this set are weird. Stan has served at 78% and had only 3 unforced errors... Yet it wasn't even that competitive.

Really hoping Roger isn't thrown off by the MTO and comes out flat. Stan is such a momentum player. If he gets going you never know

Yes, that's what I mean BB. The numbers are very misleading. Even the UE numbers don't quite indicate how off Stan's groundies were.

I find it so tiresome when these commentators keep saying this is the best Roger has ever played. Get real!

They're really saying Federberg? Are you watching on Eurosport? Because they tend to go overboard, particularly Mats.

Yesterday on Eurosport they were saying Nadal and Fed were better than ever. I'm watching Channel 7 tonight in Oz

Some of the line calls have been pretty atrocious... officials must have been celebrating Australia Day down the pub all afternoon.

Eurosport commentators (except for Frew) always do that. It's annoying. I like Mats but he tends to ignore obvious declines in certain aspects of a great's game, and instead focus on the one tweak they made to stay competitive, and use that as an indicator that they're better.

For instance, if Roger is using more variety, attacking the net more, etc... he's better than ever. Even if the baseline monster from years past was a vastly superior player to the current version.
