I really really would have been ok with a Stan win today. For the sake of tennis (and it's not even an anti-Rafa thing) I would love Dimi to win. We need fresh blood and Dimi was supposed to be that

I get the point about a Dimitrov win. But I can't support it, personally.

I'm looking beyond Dimi at guys like Sascha Zverev... I think Dimi will ultimately be part of a lost generation.

Seriously, though, the guy is playing beautifull tennis. We should enjoy it, I guess.

Dimitrov is probably rather a lost opportunity. Even if he steps up now, he's likely to get passed quickly.

I don't think you can dismiss Dimi so easily. Look at how long it took for Stan and Murray to get to the party. That could easily be him as well

Murray was challenging longer, so you can only compare him with Stan, I think. Sure, he could win a few Majors when everyone else is gone, but not a great.

Speaking of Stan...he is 31 or something. I think he's done.

Y that's true. But the guy had 2 things going against him... the celebrity and the massive talent. Sometimes it really does take longer for guys like that to put it all together

Murray gets an unwarranted reputation. He broke through in 2008. Just because he didn't win his first slam for a while due to the insane level of competition and the consistency of the other 3 shouldn't be a big knock against him.

Yeah, that's a bit far Moxie. You've got to hand it to Stan... none of us thought he'd win a major and he did, then he won another... and then people said he washed up... but he got another. He is a big game player. Not sure if he'll win another, but he'll be a dangerous guy for the next couple of years.

Yes, I do. I think he plays spoiler from here on out. He's older, he's got head issues. He was lucky to do what he's done.
