I’m sorry but who are you to speak for the rest of the world? Andy’s win was front-page news all over the world. Check the link out.

BTW being shy and a little introverted does not mean you don’t have a ‘good personality’ as you put it. Nor does it mean you can’t be a global ambassador. The name Leo Messi springs to mind.
“My training blocks are really important and I won’t let anything get in the way of that – that just isn’t going to happen.†Andy Murray
I think it is safe to say that Andy will deal with the commercial side of his career only on his own terms. By all accounts he has driven his agents to distraction through his obsessive focus on the task at hand, refusing to sign up to anything that he is not comfortable with or that might compromise his training or disrupt his routine. Murray will always put his tennis first. Some brand experts see his determination to focus on his sport and largely eschew the trappings of sporting celebrity as commercially beneficial in the long-term.
Murray’s biggest current contract is a five-year clothing and footwear deal with Adidas, worth an estimated £15 million. The arrangement expires at the end of 2014 and negotiations have already started about a new contract, expected to double in value. His new deal is likely to make him a global brand ambassador.
Experts don’t expect Andy to capitalise on his maximum sponsorship potential and instead to be cautious about choosing his commercial partners. Andy Kenny, managing director at BrandRapport, said: "He doesn't strike me as the kind of person who will now look to have lots of commercial partners or commit himself to lots of PR activity – my instinct is that he will have a few sponsorships, but will do more with them."
Murray has become a British sporting icon and if he is knighted in the New Year Honours it will certainly do brand Murray no harm at all. Sponsors aren’t all interested in ‘pretty boys’. Some might see Andy’s commitment, visceral urge to succeed and his no-nonsense attitude as attributes to admire. Andy is a model of self-improvement and persistence. He has dedicated his life to his sport. He is not perfect but there is a lot to admire about Andy Murray. He will have the UK market at his feet. I don’t even need to talk about global brands.

^ It' a Brand question. I'd expect Murray to have some performance bonuses built into his existing contracts + he has the UK market at his mercy for branding. It wouldn't surprise me if we found out soon that Andy had been using Gillette razors and brylcreem for years!
Biggest market is the States - and I think that's where Federer has separated himself from the rest in terms of endorsement income.
The Wimbledon win has triggered the performance bonuses. No chance Andy will do a Gillette ad. Being clean shaven is not something he really cares about and I would assume a deal with Gillette would require him to be clean shaven during matches etc.
Brylcreem.
uzzled Do any guys use that now? No chance of Andy promoting ANY hair products.
