Novak is gonna slaughter Donald ..it will be a good measure for Donald to try to get to Novak's hitting level although he isn't Novak of 2010-16
Donald's been better this year than the last several. He might give ol' Novak a run.

Medvedev pushed Djokovic quite hard in Davis Cup this year, but had to retire. Promising player. Not too confident about tomorrow's outcome, it will be a good test for Djokovic to see where he is right now. I think this 250 event was a good choice I think, maybe he should play some more smaller events this year. Get back into tennis.

Novak got the first set and a break already. Didn't look like this from the early scoreline.

Djokovic into the final. 6-4 6-4. Better than expected to be honest. Playing the winner of Monfils - Gasquet. Hoping for Gasquet as he is the better grassplayer, so better practice.

Appreciate it, I recall you saying as much earlier. Still I saw him play this Russian in Davis cup and I was a little worried that it would not go that well also because I am not sure when the ship will be rightened. But this is encouraging.

It looked very close at start of match, both dropped serve and further break points against Novak and he looked negative. But he hung on in there. In second set he looked much more confident, forehand improved noticeably and 80%+ on first serve. This tournament has been good for him despite weather. Great support for him from crowd.
