A weird loss by Khachanov today to a Dutch player ranked 211, Griekspoor.
This result is a lot worse than losing last week to Berrettini

I have Nishikori losing to Herbert early. Am I bandwagoning? Or just thinking that Kei is not fit?
I was not far off. Kei barely squeaked that on out.

I do not love Khachanov's game. A little too Fred Flintstone/Frankenstein's monster for me. But that loss is weird. Who ever heard of that guy?

Medvedev has some outstanding defensive. For a 6'6" stature he moves very well, running down and returning many potential winners.
His match with Chardy is really fun.

Dzumher straight-setted Tsitsipas last Nov. in Paris. This went 3. Dzumher is a funny one.

Did you see it? Is Stan back? I see also that Shapo got Berdy and Monfils beat Seppi in 3.
Most of it. He looked pretty good. Got the break early and held his serve. Groundstrokes and movement look much better than Aus.

Monfils looks to be in very good form. He topped Dzumhur easily.

I am very interested to see the outcome of Tsonga - Medvedev encounter. The two winners from last week.

Medvedev eliminates Tsonga in 2 sets. I think Medvedev will be the next newcomer to the top 10. He is in a great form.

Monfils man... what can you say... athletically, this is a guy who should have had the tennis world eating out of his hand. Such a disappointment, despite recent victories in a tinpot tournament.

Tbh I dunno. Monfils' cardio was always shocking. He's literally standing there panting after long rallies and though he definitely tanks a lot of matches even when not tired, he's definitely fatigued easily too which hampers him badly.
