Djokovic vs Del Potro is the match to watch. Del Potro keeps losing his rhythm and has come back only shortly. So, he needs to play a reasonable schedule for some months to get back to a good form. I wish him all the best.

With Raonic hammy problem, he's dropping out of Acapulco making Nadal the 2nd seed! Nadkovic won't meet in a potential SEMI now! We're assuming both will make final; not as automatic as in the past IMO! I've been thrown for a loop since FO; nothing going as "consensus" we once held! :banghead: :negative: - - - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2017_Abierto_Mexicano_Telcel_–_Men's_Singles - - -

Could be a Djokelpotro second round clash :boxing:

Rafa plays Mischa in round 1. Get ready folks. Mischa is a S&V player. S&V is almost like death knell for Rafa. Remember dreddie's adventure in Wimby. :devil

Really? maybe you have forgot this last Brisbane 6-1 6-1 by Rafa.......;)

That was before Mischa got his confidence by going deep in AO.

I don't think Misha changed because Sir Andy played atrocious in AO.....see Vesely, he beat Nole in MC last year and he's never did great things since this moment
same for Rosol, Darcis, Brown who all beat Manacor's bull in Wimbly, it didn't change their career after that

There are some players which are "great only for one match" and that's all. Seppi stuns Roger in AO 2015 and I don't remember to see him doing something good again

Let's just stick to youngsters for expecting good things from new guys. There are a bunch of them out there all are pretty far away from gaining maturity though.
