Remember that once Serena got a point docked as her screaming was considered distracting
the opponent (I think it was at USO, against either Kim or Sam). May be they should give
such penalties more often. Then they will stop screaming.

She shouted a C'mon when the ball was in flight and rightly got called on it.

I will bet my house that Serena shouted that because the point was already won by her. She is no cheat. Thats a huge difference in my book compared to Masha. I guess we all have our own books... I get it now and to be honest I dont give a ...

As much as I hate pova's screams, I don't think she is doing it with deliberate intention
to "cheat". With respect tothe staring and taking an year between two points, I agree
she is doing it intentionally and deliberately.

I disagree, She screams intentionally. She is not that stupid to not feel what she is doing. People told her that she screams, she checked it out years ago, and decided that she will cheat, and she cheats. Its one of her favored tools.
She pretends she is innocent under that blonde image while stealing. Its called cheating.

If instead of doing a verbal "come on", if she has just screamed would she be called on it as
well? That is the question.

No, thats not the question. The question is if she done that all the time for years, would she be called on it as well?
Someone has made a career of it. Of blatant cheating. Thats why I am so mad. Its rotten.

It's not blatant cheating because there is no established rule defining what is or is not allowed regarding screaming.

OF COURSE it is. The establishment likes it that way. They HELP her cheat. Simple as that. They need a fake role model to keep the farce called "women tennis" going. Take it or leave it... (my opinion).

Listen, I think they should bring in something to curtail this screaming - and Maria is far from the only offender.... lots of them shriek. Fashionista had the best solution - kill it at junior level and let it filter through.

But... it's not cheating unless you break the rules so Sharapova isn't cheating by screaming.

I totally disagree with you. She is a cheat who does that intentionally.
If there wasnt a rule against murder then it would be legal to murder according to your thinking.

Uhm, if there was not a rule against murder, it WOULD be legal. Wrong, but legal.

players will start screaming during training :D but some screams are not cheating. Vika screams a lot but she doesnt cheat intentionally. It should made illegal but she is no cheat. Thats the difference with cheatpova.

And the murderer has just cheated as I said and took someone's life which is worse than cheat but is at least a cheat.
In this case the law helps the cheat to cheat for its own benefit of promoting the WTA through fake negative means. The WTA collaborates intentionally with the cheater by not enforcing the law.
It needs a blonde on prime time main court. A soft brothel ;)

The US Open web site is creating music album out of data generated from each match.
This is real and you can listen to the music corresponding to any match.

Instead of using data, i would suggest to them to just use the screams for the WTA
matches.

If I am understanding you correctly, in addition to being a peasant according to you, she is also a "soft" prostitute.:nono

Maybe it is time to step back a bit, relax, ?

It would be legal but it wouldn't be right. Not that it's a realistic comparison.

I don't know about intentions as I am not mind reader. But, I find Vika's screams to be
orgasmic and entertaining.

There is not a rule against screaming so it's not fricken cheating. Cheating is breaking the rules of the sport. Unless a bunch of players start reporting Sharapova claiming hindrance then nothing will happen... and it won't be just Sharapova who comes under the microscope - Azarenka and a bunch of others will too.

The WTA should have clamped down much harder when Seles came on the scene... (Seles was actually reported for hindrance during Wimbledon by other players) - since then it's got progressively worse.

Actually WTA was investigating the posibility of using a meter that measures the intensity
of screams and dock a point if the decibel level was over some value. It floated the idea to
players. The players turned it down and WTA did not want to pus it down their throat (as
it will be difficult to scream with something in the throat :laydownlaughing).

I think they are currently taking the approach of nipping it in the bud at the junior level.

I remember reading something about that, too. They even measured how loud several players are on average. That Portuguese player who's known for her screaming (I can't remember her name) was the loudest, and I believe Maria came in second.

I think they are currently taking the approach of nipping it in the bud at the junior level.

This is also my understanding. They need to be rigorous about it, though, and not give up. I'm sure it will be difficult, but they must also recognize its necessity.

I don't know why they don't enforce the current rules more. I know the screaming, per se, isn't illegal, but certain forms of it are clearly a form of hindrance. Serena was cited because she yelled "Come on!" before the point was over (the ball hadn't bounced twice). That's the only example I can think of.

It's like the problem with taking too much time between points. Enforce the rule all the time, and eventually the players will speed up. Enforce the hindrance rule, and they will stop doing it.

It is called gruntometer. Even when they nip it in the bud at the junior level, they need
to use it on court.

I think they are just waiting for the current generation of screamers to retire before
they bring in the gruntometer.

Not at all , she is a cheat not a whore. Its the WTA who whores her. There is a difference for you.
The WTA replaced promoting sport and tennis with soft sex. I am sure that you knew that already.
Otherwise they would have put the best ranked players in prime time TV and not the (fake)glamour/looks.
Cheatpova just takes what she can get from the situation.

I am mad about the state of the tennis more than one cheat or another.
Thats why I am so nuts. But I really have some egg to boil or something like that, so I will leave it at that.
If the WTA chase my type out of this sport, then I guess I will do the walk and leave this farce to those who deserve it. I shell see.
I start to lose interest in women tennis and fast.

P.S. I enjoy the way you try to make me look ridicilous but I am not sure its working for you. :D
