As much as I started to like Rune, he really needs to stop this MTO crap when opponent gets a momentum. Is it allowed to have MTO when they just change ends at 1:0? Anyway Bernandes allowed it, but Dimitrov complained a lot.

Well I’m sure Patrick “It’s ok to push the boundaries on what constitutes cheating.” Mouratoglou isn’t the person to impress upon Rune hey cut it out.

Really odd - according to the schedule Sonego and Humbert's match is being played AFTER the match between Rune/Nagal and Kecmanovic/Dimitrov - but why? Why not let them rest as long as possible?
I will never understand these schedules... and why don't they start the days schedule with both delayed matches instead ?
I happen to agree with you, the delayed matches should start first

BTW I am 'over Meddy' and his rants in this tournament, pushing the boundaries in matches, hopefully the next tournament he plays he pulls his head in.. I say this as a Meddy fan.

Rune too strong in the TB against Dimitrov 76 (2), Dimitrov did have a couple of MP before it went to a TB for the 3rd set
Rune d Dimitrov 76(9) 36 76(2)

This was a great match. Lots of fun, crowd fully involved. I knew Grigor had no chance in TB if Rune survived that 15 minute game, which he did and then steam rolled in TB.

Rune will have to beat Sinner in the QFs to stay in the Top Ten, he is safe for now :)

Actually the problem with his wrist and chest happened at the end of the first set before he was broken. You could see it pretty clearly Why he didn't get the painkillers in the break beats me.

Loved this comment from Ruud after defeating Hubi,

" He plays typically a lot of tie breaks. I tried to avoid that today and I'm happy I did" :)

I am a bit surprised that Sonego LL, I know he can be a tricky player at times, is holding his own against Humbert, winning the 1st set 75

Glad to see Rune pull that win off...Grigor is playing really well, and I like him, but one of my hopes for this year is that Rune takes it up a level. Still (not-so) secretly hoping he can maximize his potential and turn the (young guy) Big Two into a Big Three.

Who are you eliminating from the Big 3? I thought we had it already w/ Djokovic, Alcaraz, & Sinner! Medvedev should make it the Big 4! WHAT? :fearful-face:
