DonToo bad for Rune. I really wanted to see him go against Carlos, but something was clearly wrong with Holger tonight, 33 FH UEs. He had no energy after a first few games of the match.
I have to imagine its one of the most difficult jobs in the world.. to travel, land at your destinations, unpack, search for food , train , go to the tournaments and wait to play your match, post match recover, sleep AND . If you win, Its Rinse and Repeat every day until you loose. My job (technical sales) once had me on the road 3-4 different cities a week which was actually worse because I didnrt stay in one place more than two days. Its a really challenge that these athletes to stay healthy with all the different cities and countries.Too bad for Rune. Dont make me laugh apparently you did not watch Medvedev's match in Rotterdam yesterday he lost to a Q ranked 92 in 3 sets, his hard court game is struggling big time,, going out to Tien another Q, ranked 121, in 5 sets at the AO, BTW Fritz defeated Medvedev at the finals 2024 in Turin in straight sets? their H2H is 1 allTurned on TC Live just in time to hear 3 Americans went down today in Dallas! I keep saying these guys don't have the weapons to win consistantly! Shelton needs his serve or he's done! Tiafoe's ranking has been tenuous since making those USO SF & QF appearances, & Fritz is a poor man's, "Sinner" & will also fall in the rankings sooner than later! How long can he hold up against the likes of Daniil & Novak? The latest news says Djokovic's "hamstring injury" isn't as seriously once thought! He'll probably play Doha & IW next month!![]()
I'm pretty sure he had hoped to pull through the match with painkillers and be ready for Alcaraz. But he was to weak to pull it off.Just further information regarding Rune, he contracted a high grade fever which he tried to lower, along with the nausea and no energy he felt in his match against Martinez, credit to Rune for not retiring under those circumstances
Novak showed the world the MRI where he had a tear in his leg or whatever less than 3 weeks ago but he has healed to play a tournament in a few weeks. what is he made of Wolverine or full of BS. I would say the laterDont make me laugh apparently you did not watch Medvedev's match in Rotterdam yesterday he lost to a Q ranked 92 in 3 sets, his hard court game is struggling big time,, going out to Tien another Q, ranked 121, in 5 sets at the AO, BTW Fritz defeated Medvedev at the finals 2024 in Turin in straight sets? their H2H is 1 all
As I posted the other day, Serbian media said Novak could play Doha and has returned to light training, this injury wasnt as bad as first thought, as yet there is no confirmation he will play Doha
I would imagine he would take something for a fever before his match against Martinez hoping it would lower the temperature.Shame he picked up some type of virus, these things do happen.,just bad timing.in a tournamentI'm pretty sure he had hoped to pull through the match with painkillers and be ready for Alcaraz. But he was to weak to pull it off.
Well the good thing with tennis is, that there's always a new tournament and chance jo win next week....
Greek got his ass wooped by Belluci who is playing great this week. Greek tried, but he was simply outplayed today. Results so far QFs at ATP500 Rotterdam,
Q Bellucci backed up his 3rst set win against Medvedev to defeat Tsitsipas in straight sets 64 62
Alex de Minaur (3) too good for LL Altmaier 61 64, Alex up to No 7 in the world, will pass Djokovic with 1 more win!
Bellucci and De Minaur will meet in the SF in Rotterdam
The fairy tale continues with Bellucci, Stef did play well against Griekspoor, agree today he was simply outplayedGreek got his ass wooped by Belluci who is playing great this week. Greek tried, but he was simply outplayed today.
