As I am 'tennised out" I will miss the ladies singles final at Adelaide International, I will be surprised if Ostapenko dosent win she has shown good form not in Adelaide and also in Brisbane, she said she wants to be 'more aggressive' this year, my lord that is 'scary' just thinking about it

Jelena Ostapenko won her 7th career title defeating Daria Kasatkina 63 62 at the Adelaide International
On Monday 15th January, for the first time in over 5 years, Jelena will return to the Top Ten!

WTA confirmed change in qualification for WTA Finals,
Players/Teams who finish the season in the Top 7 in the WTA Race automatically qualify. The 8th spot is reserved for player/team who won major in the season and is ranked 8-20

Osaka has decided to change her schedule and now play the Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open field. Tournament takes place from Feb 3-12 at Zayed Sports City
Quite frankly I feel she needs more match play, she still is unfit to me, she wasnt getting to balls she would normally get to when she played Garcia at the AO
