A lot of rust in the 4th seed Krejcikova at the Adelaide International, Kalinskaya taking the 1st set 75
Babs has found more range in her shots and her bhand is working much better in the 2nd set she takes it 63
Kalinskaya was really attacking Babs BH with results and takes out the 4th seed 75 36 75!

Jarmere Jenkins has confimed the split with Team Coco, due to logistics ( recently moved) and family reasons. He plans to work with high profile juniors and pros dueing the 2024 season
I think Coco's team are cheap, and don't want to pay good money.Serena and Jermere were together for years until she retired.I hope Coco is not allowing MJoeFernandes husband to control her career like that.

From what I read it was a personal matter, and he was relocating, I mean hiring Brad Gilbert would not be cheap
BTW Talyor and Haddad Maia are playing doubles together at Adelaide International today Tuesday in Aussie:)

I watched the 1st set of Paula Badosa first singles match since Wimbledon, she showed little signs of rust at the Adelaide International
Apparently the American girl Pera came back and won the match 36 62 63

My Lord Caroline Garcia loses the 2nd set 61, to young Aussie Taylah Preston ranked 202 in the world,
Garcia won the 1st set in a tight battle 64, going 3, she is now a Head Case, I mean she has had matches at the United Cup, so this is not her first tournament...Preston is standing firm on the baseline and has strong ground strokes, holding her ground, Garcia has become a Mini Sabalenka.
This match is doing my head in off to watch a more sensible match and player.
Garcia survives 64 16 63
BTW Tossip you know when we both though Caroline was gay and her trainer was her girl friend, well she turned up in Aussie with her boy friend, he looks about 16, he was with her at the United Cup

Other results today,
Ostapenko (6) battled past Cirstea 62 26 64 I dont understand why Osta is playing Adelaide when she went deep in Brisbane
A bit of an upset L.Siegemund more known for her doubles play defeated the No 7 seed Samsonova 67(1) 64 64
Kudermetova (8) d LL A.Krueger 62 75
Help Q K.Siniakova who has never won a set or match against her fellow Czech player Pliskova leading 62 and 3-0 in the 2nd set.Pliskova is all over the place and her UFE count is 22 plus, cant find the court half the time, needs to take her time on her serve for starters, and watch her margins, why do players think they have to 'paint the lines' all the time? just does my head in!
Pliskova DF and Siniakova gets her fist win against her fellow Czech player 62 61

New WTA/ATP Scheduling Rule Changes, these changes do not apply to Grand Slam tournaments, hopefully they follow suit.
The new scheduling rules are being implemented as part of a 1 year trial in 2024, with further review to follow.

No more than 5 matches per day, per court ( with an 11am start) with 3 matches during the day session and 2 matches during the evening session
No matches to go on court after 11pm, unless approved by the WTA/ATP Supervisor in consultation with WTA/ATP management
Matches not on court by 10.30pm to be moved to an alternative court - no later than 11pm.
Night sessions to begin no later than 7.30pm, with a recommendation for 6.30pm.

Tennis Balls,
A strategic review of tennis balls used on the tour is underway, and the changes, if any, to be implemented by 2025.

So Siniakova and Krejcekova are broken up too.
Correct they wanted a break, from what I read, it was Siniakova that wanted the break, though both said they could team up again
Siniakova is playing with Aussie Storm Hunter and Krejcekova is playing with German Laura Siegemund
Also Garcia and Mladenovic are teaming up again in doubles they are also playing in Adelaide
