In Stuttgart,
Paula Badosa 63 64 over Shnaider, it was a gritty performance,, and gets to player her best friend Aryna Sabalenka in the 2nd round
In the final match of the day another tight battle, Kudermetova d Krejickova 57 64 64
I saw bits and pieces of the last match. Babs is a shadow of her former self. There's no consistency, confidence or gut-wrenching desire to get back her mojo.

Quite frankly I dont think her back injury that has kept her out of tournaments of late is 100%

Well, her and Ons need to go sit down somewhere. They're not doing anyone any favors w/ lackluster play and they are not playing well enough to earn any points or income so why not sit down until you can.

On court for the last match of the day in Stuttgart is Ostapenko v Noskova
Looking forward to watch the match, being indoors on clay the conditions should suit both players, both can whack the ball :)

Coco Gauff survives, starts her clay season with a 63 46 75 win over Vickery, in a match she faced 19 BPs and hit 15 DFs
I also watched a bit of Ons Jabeur match earlier, ugly win, though a win is a win, at least she didnt get beaten in her first round match.

In the battle of the 2 wild cards, impressed with the way Raducanu moves on clay, winning the 1st set 62 over Kerber in Stuttgart

The 2 besties are on court in Stuttgart, Sabalenka vs Badosa, btw this match started at 11pm?
Sabalenka survives multiple sets points and leads Badosa 76(4)
Badosa had a MTO and went off court, came back right thigh heavily bandaged
Badosa to serve for the 2nd set 5-4, Badosa 64 2nd set
Going 3
Badosa had to retire sad to say 3 all in the 3rd set
Sabalenka wins by retirment 76(4) 46 3 all

Good win from Jasmine Paolini over Ons Jabeur, Jasmine hadnt defeated Ons before or taken a set off her, in the 2 two times they had met, really remained aggressive on court and won in straight sets 76(8) 64

Rant time from me!
Why did Ons and Badosa even sign up for doubles!
They WD and gave their opponents a WO.They were both dealing with injuries.Makes No Sense At All!

Wow,
Emma Raducanu WC just handed Linda Noskova a Bagel, I did not see that coming, I though it would be a closer match
Lets see how Linda responds in the 2nd set

Not great news from Paula Badosa, she had scans after she had to retire in her match against Sabalenka yesterday
Medical tests revealed a small tear in her adductor. She will work with her medical team to try to play in Madrid.
