About Paris:

Paris is the capital and most populous city of France, with an official estimated population of 2,102,650 residents as of 1 January 2023 in an area of more than 105 km² (41 sq mi), making it the fourth-most populated city in the European Union as well as the 30th most densely populated city in the world in 2022. Since the 17th century, Paris has been one of the world's major centres of finance, diplomacy, commerce, fashion, gastronomy, and science. For its leading role in the arts and sciences, as well as its early and extensive system of street lighting, in the 19th century, it became known as "the City of Light". Like London, prior to the Second World War, it was also sometimes called the capital of the world.

The City of Paris is the centre of the Île-de-France region, or Paris Region, with an official estimated population of 12,271,794 inhabitants on January 1, 2023, or about 19% of the population of France, making the region France's primate city. The Paris Region had a GDP of €739 billion ($743 billion) in 2019, the highest in Europe. According to the Economist Intelligence Unit Worldwide Cost of Living Survey, in 2022, Paris was the city with the ninth-highest cost of living in the world.

It's been a rough season for Tatoo w/ the death of her nana and I'm sure that RG beatdown and Wimby R1 loss are hard to swallow.

Also reports that she has broken up with her husband, though at present it has not been confirmed

I am trying to get more confirmation if Rybakina has withdrawn/ or will withdraw

Press release from Kaz Tennis Federation says Rybakina is suffering from 'acute bronchitis and doctors 'categorically forbade her to travel to Paris ( source kft.kazz/press centre)

Personally I cannot see her playing if she has acute bronchitis

Elena Rybakina has withdrawn as I suspected, apparently Elena fell ill after Wimbledon, she is a player that appears to me to have a very low immune problem, picks up upper respiratory illness, her team really has to get her on a program of vitimens and diet to strengthen her immune system, I also said ages ago she needs a FBC full blood count, you can tell from the results what minerals that are in her body need to be strengthen.
Also he is a tall athlete 6 foot she needs put on some weight and muscle, being too thin can also play havoc with your immune system
Front also mentioned to me she always looks 'pasty' I agree with that 100%, could be anemic?

Garcia moves into her slot, Saville takes Garcia's former one.
Garcia avoids Zheng in R1, alternate Saville gets Zheng
In the mixed doubles draw Rybakina/Bublik are replaced by Gonzalez/Podoroska

Elena has withdrawn since early March 4 tournaments, IW, Rome, Eastbourne and Olympics and retired in Berlin.

The withdrawal of Elena Rybakina after the singles draw, meant that Daria Saville replaced her her in the bracket, however the Australian Saville has also ended up withdrawing, which has given Sara Errani the opportunity to be the replacement for both. The Italian will have triple duty as she will compete in singles, doubles and mixed doubles

Well almost got a hick up from this game: Iga almost lost second set but made a terrific comeback - let the games begin!
