Interesting fact,
Seeing Tsitsipas leaves the ATP Top Ten, first time ever there will no one-handers in the Top Ten! when the new rankings come out on Monday
This surprised me. When Roger dropped out of the top 10 some years back (and then got back in it,) but who filled in the one-hander slot(s) when it wasn't Roger? Always Tsitsipas?

What about Dom Thiem?

Hopefully Alcaraz can turn this match around, he will have to take the scenic route, I have run out of milk, off to my local corner shop

I don't see him turning this around today. He got the break early in the 2nd by moving big dude around. He's completely abandoned that and has resumed making a bunch of errors trying to end the points early. I would like to be happily proven wrong, so we'll see

Jarry gets the break and will serve for it. Jarry has a big game, and he's been aggressive. Carlos has been on his back foot much of this match.

Charlie will lose points as he's the defending champ. @MargaretMcAleer What does String Bean have to do over the next 2 months to move up to #2?

Carlos could not find a solution today. He tried, but just not good enough. They played some close matches before. Jarry looks like a tough match up for Carlitos.

He definitely is and I'm surprised Charlie wanted to play him. He was asked in his on court presser yesterday who he'd prefer to play. He chose Jarry because he said he didn't want to deal w/ the Argies pulling for one of their own.

In truth, he struggles w/ big hitters period. It's a pattern I've noticed for the last 2 years. I thought JCF had addressed some different tactics to try when facing these monster hitters, but maybe not. He looked as lost today as he was last year when playing these types.

Our commentator said the same. Etchevery would be much easier opponent despite the crowd.

They need to get back to the drawing board and try some other stuff. Returning from the VIP stands doesn't help.

Meanwhile in other news from the USO 250 series, Big Toe is still struggling. Two first names (Tommy Paul) moves into the final and will await his opponent which will also be American, either Giron or Taylor.

I would like to make a constructive point regarding Charly, disappointed loss today, though Jarry deserved his win,he hasnt made a final since his loss in Cinncy last year
JCF really needs to improve his serve for starters, it has been missing when he needs it most.

Well taking the title in Rotterdam he will move up to No 3 and can make a move for the No 2 spot in the weeks ahead.
Between now and the end of Miami, Sinner is defending 1,260 points and Alcaraz 1,910 points, with all those points dropped, Sinner would only trail by 535 points.
Sinner has a big chance at IW, where Alcaraz has to defend 1,000 points and Sinner just 360 points
