I'm starting to sense a pattern here:

Pete Sampras - born August 1971 - won 10 titles (including 2 slams) in 1994
Roger Federer - born August 1981 - won 11 titles (including 3 slams) in 2004
Jannik Sinner - born August 2001 - 10+ titles and multiple slams in 2024?

"Multiple Slams" for Sinner in 2024?
It depends on whether...
...Joker can ever live down that career-defining, legacy-destroying, disgrace at Melbourne...

Due to bad weather the Delray Beach Final between Taylor Fritz and Tommy Paul has been postponed to tomorrow not before 12.30 local time

Everyone will be back at work except the snowbirds (retired northerners who go south for the winter)
Not quite. It's President's Day. Kids are out and a lot of businesses will be closed.

Charlie will lose points as he's the defending champ. @MargaretMcAleer What does String Bean have to do over the next 2 months to move up to #2?
Now that Sinner has won Rotterdam, he has a realistic chance to become no.2 after Indian Wells.

First, if Sinner wants to overtakes Alcaraz in the rankings, then he NEEDS to win Indian Wells. This is priority number 1. If he does not win IW, then he can't be number 2 in the world after IW.

As for Alcaraz, Rio Open is important to him not only for his confidence, but also for his ranking points. If he does not win Rio or reach the final, then he will drop points going to IW. And if he drops points before IW, then Sinner can overtake him in the rankings assuming Sinner wins IW (stated in the 1st point), of course.

I did answer Kskate post to me a few pages back,? apparently you did not read my post?, . Alcaraz is defending 1,000 points at IW and Sinner 360, so he does have a good chance of being No 2 if he can win IW. At present Alcaraz is leading Sinner by 835 points, after Janniks win at Rotterdam.Alcaraz will be under the pump to find form in Rio, where Norrie is the defending champion, points could be lost depending on how far Alcaraz goes in Rio, he has to reach the final or win Rio.
BTW between now and the end of Miami, Sinner is defending 1,260 points and Alcaraz 1.910, with all those points dropped. Sinner would only trail by 535 points.
