Of course i was going to say Alcaraz in 5 sets with 6-4 in the deciding set, but i didn't want to be too cocky or scare the rest of you with my predicting prowess.

Great composure by carlos, this was a real test and he held his nerves. He’s an awesome player and a great kid.

i still feel novak has a small advantage on grass, carlos can’t get enough free points to hold easily bit margins are small and can go either way.

fitting it was 5 sets… they both put pressure on each other and there are dips in intensity momentarily allowing one to pounce. Both had high ufe which is normal given they have to battle for points off baseline.

2 slams for novak, 1 for carlos. Us open will be interesting

Djokovic has nothing to feel bad about, 23 slams, record weeks at 1, most eoy cups, masters… equalling federer at 8 wimbledons would’ve been icing on the cake but let’s let federer keep that sole record he can be remembered as best of grass.
