Actually, I’m quite cool. We get used to Rafa having injuries, so we move on. But after he went it was obvious Novak would win. There was nobody left to stop him. He snagged a handy one, just like last year, but he deserves it more than the players he beat deserves it..

Nick had a streak. A good one, but he was never gonna win, and he’s never gonna have a streak like this again. I’m glad he played well, because he’s a bit of a character,l (though not always likeable), but he doesn’t play so well when there’s gold bullion on the table to pick up..

Nick's looping FH when he just rolled the ball back in play was his Achilles heel. Everytime he hit the looping FH, Novak's BH and FH just totally anihilated the ball and took control of the points.

We need to take politics out of the sport. Banning players for being russian or not vaccinated serves NOTHING good, it’s all for politics…

Order restored. He was cheated out of AO early this year, now he is back standing tallz Listening to him talk, such a genuine good natured guy.
The evil woke government controlling horrible people kept him out of AO and now at USO, may not allow him to play. He is fighting bad forces and coning through. Even more nasty are the ones who cast him as a bad person just because he doesn’t want to get vaccinated. I know people with 3 boosters who have gotten covid 3 times, him being vaccinated or not doesn’t impact anyone negatively. The trolls, orcs, gremlins who attack him personally and cannot respect his decision need to look at themselves in the mirror and see who the real bad people are.

too bad for nick, if it weren’t for novak being cheated out of AO and potentially missing USO due to horrible people who want to control people and cannot respect people’s decisions, i wouldn’t have minded if nick would’ve won. He is so talented and i think misunderstood, he plays a role as an entertainer. As i have mentioned, I saw him once and he was just a regular guy, mixing with the fans, entertaining fans.. not arrogant at all.. down to earth and not like other players who act like they are too good to mix with regular people. He’s good for tennis.. keep working at it!

Novak didn't get cheated out of the AO, let's be clear on that one. He knew the price of admission and refused to pay. That was his decision. Same with, for now, the USO. You can decide what you think about the vaccines, but nations make their own policies, and it's got nothing to do with evil governments trying to do Novak Djokovic in. FFS. As to people trying to make him out to be a bad guy for not being vaccinated...there are plenty of other reasons to make him a bad guy. His temper, for one, which got him defaulted from the USO. His super-spreader Adria Tour that defied all current protocols at the time. Look, he always acts like a nice guy when he wins. It's the other bits.

I wondered about that one...not that he'd get fined, but that he did it. He probably knew he would and did it anyway. Margaret was right when she said he needs all that money he's made...to pay out the fines. No wonder he can't afford a coach.

Well Kyrgios can say he made it to a Grand Slam final in his career. So there’s that. He will get some endorsements but IMO this is his high water mark results wise, when will he ever get another walkthrough to a Slam final ? I just think it’s all coasting after this for Nick. Insulting to me when he says he doesn’t train hard to stay physically at his best for tournaments. Even if he had pulled out the 4th set, hard to believe he would have had the physical and mental reserves to go toe to toe with Novak in a 5th set.

The odds are very good Novak will now qualify for the YE ATP finals , which means he won’t automatically drop below top ten by YE. So jarring to have a W Champhion lose 2000 points like that.
