Shapo is defending hard right now. If you are Nadal, just keep doing on what you are doing and Shapo will tire out...

4th DF, and, for what it's worth, Denis was way back.

I'm still optimistic for a long, painful 3 sets win for Rafa.

Rafa's just missing some of those close to the lines shots that he needs to make.

Well, that was a good game to get out of.

Those are good shots though. I do not have a problem with it for now.

When he starts hitting the ball short, then I will start worry for him.

Nadal got fortunate there because that was a slow 2nd serve and he was way back to return the serve. Shapo just played a bad drop shot.

Why is Nadal standing way back on those serves from Shapo?! He is fortunate that Shapo is spraying the ball all over the place!

He does get the service break but Nadal needs to be aggressive on those serves!

He's winning, but he's missing shots he shouldn't. Needs to clean THAT UP.

I turned off the match. Shapo should learn how to play tennis. He is retarded on court.

Rafa got away with that last serve. Denis is going to start getting very frustrated.

He hasn't got the greatest tennis IQ, I'll give you that. But he could learn patience, for example. I was encouraged that he said it in his PC after last match, but saying it and doing it are 2 different things.
