Welcome to Aussie,Oi,Oi,Oi,......I wont ask why he was kicked out btw lol! ,,,,,,moving on....
In Italy I am hearing restrictions will be lifted but as yet I have not heard about a date, just the info I am getting from my cousins, some of the restirctions have been lifted if you are not vaccinated, like going to outside events, though cannot go to restaurants etc if you are not vaccinated..
I am not sure with Spain and their current restrictions.
Just to remember, though, that Novak was in Spain at the end of December, so the restrictions there seemed looser than those in France and Italy at that time. I'm guessing he'd be good to play in Madrid, for that reason.

Thanks.I just rechecked the current restrictions if any traveling to Spain.
"Fully vaccinated travelers and travelers with proof they're recovered from COVID within the last six months can enter Spain, with proof of a negative COVID test, no matter where they're traveling from".

Message from Matteo Berrettini via twitter,

"My team and I have been speaking to medical experts since my withdrawal from Miami with a right hand injury.Following multiple scans and assessments we decided a minor operation was the best solution to ensure a full and quick recovery.Earlier today I had my operation and it went extremely well.My doctor and team are already discussing plans to get back on court.I will provide an update as soon as the plan is finalized".

Results of the Marbella Challenger event clay where Warwrinka and Thiem played
Pedre Cachin d Dominic Thiem 63 64
Elias Ymer d Stan Warwrinka 62 64
At least Stan lost to Ymer. Who the hell is Cachin? Let me emphasize this is a Challenger event. I respect them for going back and playing them, but this is a rough start to the comeback.
This is promising to see. I hope he does well. He might want to include some doubles play in his game at least until he starts to find some form.
I know you are responding to Thiem getting a WC to Marrakesh. I agree he could do with some doubles. As much match play as possible. Clearly, he needs it.

I do not know who Cachin is,though remember some of these players at challengers tournaments are good players,.Quite frankly I did not expect to see either Wawrinka or Dominic win their matches, having been off the tour for soo long

Yeah, they ended up collecting games. This is not how I pictured their comeback. Okay, let's give them some time and see where they are, particularly Thiem.

In one word, the Covid is still all around. Here in Miami you can see many people without mask starting with the Governor, hope it's no going to bring bad consequences....

BTW, I never look at the Challengers, but this one is chock full of good players, as you say, even with Dominick and Stan out. Kohlscrieber, Andújar, Carballes Baena, Munar, Vesily. Cachin, btw, is from Argentina and coached by Corretja.

Hi Marg, the problem is many people think the Covid is gone or it's like a simple flu but unfortunately is not, they don't learn!. Florida governor is the worst, he doesn't give the best example.

From Ben Rothernberg via Twitter ( who has been on this case from the beginning of the initial accusations)

17 months after making her initial accusations,Olg Sharypova has finally being contracted from the ATP investigation into her ex boy friend Alexander Zverev.

Cachin them while they're rusty makes for a handy win. Could also be Stan put a wager on himself to lose and is simply Cachin in his checks.

Sorry :lol6:

I guess it takes a player acting out on court for someone to take your accusation of abuse seriously.

I honestly think that's it: they were hoping they could pretend it didn't happen, and then he blatantly misbehaved in public, and...oh, right, it didn't go away.
